제목 Study on reducing agent effect on the electrochemical activity of RGO@MnO2 composite electrodes
초록 Supercapacitors have received tremendous attention because it has both high power density and reasonable energy density. However, EDLC(Electrochemical Double Layer Capacitor) consisted of only carbonaceous materials, it is the limited use of the device that requires a long working time. In order to resolve these problem, recently researchers have been trying to create a new composite carbon materials and metal oxides are combined. Among variety of metal oxide, manganese dioxide(MnO2) is has both low price based on earth abundant and high theory capacity.
Graphene and MnO2 nanocomposite is appear better electrochemical behavior than Pure RGO or MnO2. As you can see under figure, RGO@MnO2 is exhibited a longer discharge time at the same current density. They represent the different electrochemical behavior. Electrochemical properties were characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and Galvanostatic Charge-Discharge Test in 1M Na2SO4 electrolyte.
