제목 | Shape controllable MoS2 nanoparticles: An enhanced catalyst for the hydrogen evolution reaction |
초록 | An advanced catalyst for the electrochemical hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) should reduce the overpotential and increase the efficiency. The most effective HER electrocatalyst are Pt-group metal. However, the rare Pt based materials are very expensive, then reduced practicability of Pt based water splitting. Previous reports concluded that the nanosized MoS2 nanoparticles with exposed edges should be more active for HER electrocatalyst than MoS2 in bulk form. In this work, we tried depositing MoS2 nanoparticles in various shape of cube, circle and triangle by thermal chemical vapor deposition on different substrate for HER application.
