Photosensitizers containing carbazole moieties as an electron donor with various acceptors for DSSCs |
초록 |
In Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSCs), the dye (sensitizer) is one of the most important components which can determine the photo-response and initiate the primary steps of photon absorption and the subsequent electron transfer process. We designed and synthesized carbazole-based organic dyes with different electron anchoring/acceptor (2-cyanoacetic acid, rhodanine-3-acetic acid or 5-oxo-1-phenyl-2-pyrazolin-3-carboxylic acid) as sensitizers for DSSCs. We found that carbazole-based organic dye with cyanoacetic acid as an electron acceptor exhibits the highest solar-to-electrical energy conversion efficiency of 3.9% |
