These Polyketone is characterized by a high mechanical intensity, chemical resistance, heat resistance, and aging resistance. Therefore, PK offers many properties that are advantageous in membrane applications and production. Using the UV grafting technique, polyketone fiber was fabricated. Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy was used to characterize the ion exchange fiber. The water uptake (W.U), ion exchange capacity (IEC) and electrical resistance (E.R) of the membrane were measured to evaluate the physical properties of prepared membranes. The prepared fibers were applied to the chemical filter, in which their gas removal rates were evaluated. |
