제목 | PROBABILITY OF ADSORPTION WITH SALT CONCENTRATION AND PH TUNABLE WATER AND OIL SURFACE OF SURFACE FUNCTIONALIZED POLY STYRENE PARTICLES |
초록 | Pickering emulsion is a type of emulsion in which an interface stabilized by solid particles irreversibly adsorbed at a fluid interface to decrease the surface energy of the system. This novel type of emulsion reduces chemical surfactant that occur environmental issues and is applied various fields by optimizing solid particles for each fields such as optical biosensing, drug delivery system, and environmental catalysis. In previous studies, many researchers identified individual particle adsorption probability with the effect of ion strength and geometry of particles. In this work, we quantitatively study the adsorption probability of bulk particles depending on various pH, the salt concentration of the solution, and functionalized group of the particle surface. Through this study, we connect between the adsorption probabilities of an individual particle and bulk particles. |
