Dependence of hole and electron current density of mixed host devices doped with green phosphorescent emitters on mixed host composition was investigated. Hole only and electron only devices with green emitting layer were fabricated to study the dependence of green mixed host composition. We used a mixed host of TPBi with good electron transport properties and TCTA with good hole transport properties. The ratio of the mixed host was 1:3, 1:1, 3:1 and single host device was also fabricated as a reference device. The dependance of the hole current density on the mixed host composition was significant, but the electron current density was not greatly affected by mixed host composition. Therefore, it can be concluded that dependence of hole current density is predominated in the mixed host devices using green phosphorescent emitter. |
