제목 In vitro and In vivo studies of hydrogel and BMP-2 coated ZrO2-HAp multi layers for bone tissue engineering
초록 Highly porous bone substitutes have been focused on improving their mechanical properties and modifying their functions. Porous ZrO2 scaffold was fabricated by the sponge replica method using PU sponge. The ZrO2-HAp composite powders were prepared depending on the ratio and coated on the ZrO2 scaffold by dip coating process. Hydrogel and BMP-2 coated on the ZrO2-HAp multi layer. X-ray diffraction analysis was performed to characterize the phase identification of the scaffolds. Microstructures of the bone substitutes were observed using scanning electron microscopy. Biocompatibility was investigated in vitro by cell spreading and proliferation studies by MTT assay and confocal using MG-63 cells. The scaffolds implanted in a male rabbit femur and observed for 4weeks. Histological staining by hematoxylin and eosin was done to determine material interaction in-vivo.
