Thermal and mechanical properties of UV-cured organic-inorganic transparent hard coating materials based on polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane and urethane acrylate |
초록 |
Hard coating materials for improving the scratch resistance of transparent plastic substrate surface were prepared by mixing urethane acrylate and polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane(POSS). POSS was prepared by sol-gel reaction of organo-trialkoxysilane using acidic catalyst. Radical photoinitiator and acrylic monomer were added to the mixture of POSS and the coated layer was crosslinked with UV-radiation. UV-cured hard coating showed the improved surface hardness and excellent transparency and thermal stability. Condensation of sol-gel product was studied by 29Si nuclear magnetic resonance and attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Surface hardness of UV-cured hard coating was evaluated by pencil hardness. Transmittance of hard coating was investigated by UV/Vis spectroscopy. Thermal stability of hybrid material was measured by thermal gravimetric analysis. |
