Full-interpenetrating polymer network electrolyte membranes composed of pendant sufonated poly(ether ether ketone) and an organosiloxane-based hybrid network |
초록 |
A full-interpenetrating polymer network (full IPN) proton exchange membrane was prepared from the pendant sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone) (sPEEK) and organosiloxane-based organic/inorganic hybrid network (organosiloxane network). The organosiloxane network was synthesized from 3-glycidyloxypropyltrimethoxysiane and 1-hydroxyethane-1,1-diphosphonic acid. The full IPN membranes prepared were stable up to 300 oC without any degradation. The methanol permeability was much lower than Nafion® 117 under addition of the organosiloxane network. The proton conductivity of full IPN membranes increased with an increase the organosiloxane network content compared with that of the pristine pendant sPEEK. Chemical synthesis of the semi IPN membranes was identified using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), and its ion cluster dimension examined using small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS). |
