제목 Properties Comparison of changed hybrid composite bonding methods between carbon fiber and carbon nanotube
초록 Carbon fiber reinforced polymer(CFRP) is rather light but has the strong mechanical properties. So It is widely used in automobile body frame to reduce the weight of body which improves the fuel efficiency. Additionally, since various fields started to apply high strength plastic materials, research to soar its mechanical properties actively achieved. Especially, there is proceeding research about hybrid composites with CNT and carbon fiber like catalytic growth method, to obtain the effect of CNT. The hybrid composite of carbon materials can be expected reinforcing effect of each other. However, the existing method: catalytic growth method, has a critical problem. CNT detached from carbon fiber after melt-mixing process by reactive extruder. To overcome this problem, we are studying hybrid filter which has the chemical covalent bonding through surface treatment of carbon materials. And we analyze various mechanical properties to evaluate ability of hybrid filter from this method.
