제목 Preparation and Electrochemical Behaviors of Composite Polymer Electrolytes Containing Mesoporous Fillers
초록 Rechargeable lithium ion batteries are an important component in portable electronic devices because of high energy density, low weight, and excellent cycle performance. Composite polymer electrolytes (CPE) are viable candidates for rechargeable batteries because they possess desirable properties of both liquid and solid electrolytes. Nano-size fillers such as TiO2, SiO2, or Al2O3, have shown many advantageous effects on electrochemical properties (e.g. conductivity and ion transfer behaviors) of CPE.
One of the efficient ways to improve an ion conductivity is to decrease the crystallinity of CPE. In order to decrease the crystallinity of CPE based on the polymer matrix, the addition of nano-scale inorganic fillers or organic plasticizers such as carbonate based solvents is performed. In this work, the ionic conductivity and thermal properties of MCM-41 filled electrolytes were investigated. These electrolytes were composed of poly(vinyl chloride) /poly(methyl methacrylate) blends, mesoporous MCM-41 molecular sieves, and lithium salts. The MCM-41 was synthesized using a solution of sodium silicate as silica source and cetyltrimethyl-ammonium chloride (CTMACl) as template. The effects of MCM-41 addition were investigated by pH measurements, FT-IR, and XRD analyses
