제목 Thermal Stability Analysis of Composites from Poly (ε-caprolactone)diol and Multi-walled Carbon Nanotubes
초록 The thermal stability of the composites prepared from five different molecular weights of poly (ε-caprolactone)diol (PCL) with functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes (f-MWNTs) was studied by non-isothermal thermogravimetry. Kinetic studies of the composites and pure components showed that the degradation followed first-order reaction kinetics. The improved thermal stability for the composites was due to covalent bond formation between the f-MWNTs and PCL chain as confirmed from FT-IR spectroscopy.
