An Experimental Study on Pyrolysis and Gasificationof Refused Flastic Fuel in Tube Furnace |

In the present study, We investigated the characteristics of pyrolysis and gasification of RPF to get optimal parameters for the design of a pyrolysis-gasifier.RPF was investigated at non-isothermal and isothermal condition in tube furnace. The experiment was conducted at nitrogen enviroment employing gas chromatography(GC). We measured the yields of products(solid, liquid, gas phase) from both pyrolysis and gasification, and we also tested upgrade of product gas by using partial oxidation with O2 and steam reforming. The change of syngas composition was measured as a function of furnace temperature(400, 600, 800oC), steam purge amount(20cc/min), and O2 purge rate(approximat 400cc/min). |
