Membrane distillation (MD) has been focused and researched for seawater desalination because of its advantages such as (1) relatively low operating temperature, (2) less sensitivity on fouling due to low operating pressure and (3) theoretically 100% rejection of non-volatile compounds. In this study, thermally rearranged (TR) electrospun membrane was prepared. [1,2] The membrane was characterized by SEM, AFM, contact angle, CFP and LEPw. TR electrospun membrane showed a possibility to MD application with high water flux and long-term stability. ref. 1. M.J. Lee, J.H. Kim, H.S. Lim, H.K. Yu, J.H. Kim, J.S. Lee, Y.K.
