Electrocatalytic oxidation of ammonia with reactive chlorine species |

Reactive chlorine species (RCS) showes it role of oxidation reaction which decomposes organic compounds such as ammonia, urea and other nitrogen containing compounds which is excessive in sewage and thus causing eutrophication and consequent water pollution. electrocatalytic oxidation reaction was examined in anolyte of chloride ion and ammonia, the target substance for degradation. pH effect and other rate determining factors was also discussed in terms of the role of RCS and water treatment. |
