제목 Preparation and Characterization ofPCM/Poly(styrene-co-acrylic acid) Nanocapsules
초록 Aliphatic hydrocarbon materials have different fusion and crystallization temperatures depending on carbon numbers and can be used as phase change materials(PCMs) due to their large heat capacity. Encapsulated PCMs can be used in various industrial applications such as construction, aerospace, clothing, protector, transport and packagings. In this study, nanometer-sized capsules with PCMs for core materials and Poly(styrene-co-acrylic acid) for shell materials were prepared. The influences of the kinds of PCMs and surfactant contents on the shapes and sizes of the nanocapsules were evaluated using a scanning electron microscope(SEM). And the core contents of the capsules were determined by a differential scanning calorimeter(DSC). The prepared nanocapsules had the sizes of 50∼200nm and showed the shape-stability when the contents of PCMs were under 20%.
