제목 Preparation and characterization of composite film based on Polyethylene naphthalate and SiO2 modified with silane coupling agent
초록 In this study, nano-sized SiO2 was modified by various silane coupling agent. The modified SiO2 and polyethylene naphthalate(PEN) composite films were prepared by melting process. The SiO2/PEN composite films were characterized by thermo mechanical analysis, UV-vis spectrometer, scanning electron microscopy and universial testing machine. PEN film having SiO2 modified with 3-phenyltrimethoxysilane was high transmittance and low CTE value. SiO2 modified with silane coupling agent can lead to disperse well in PEN matrix, to maintain high transmittance, and to reduce the CTE value of PEN film.
