In this work, porous polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) based on polyvinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene (PVDF-HFP) comprising of lithium perchlorate (LiClO4) was prepared. Poly(ethylene-co-methacrylate-co-glycydyl methacrylate) (PEMGM) and N-doped TiO2 (N-Ti) were used as a additives to enhance the Li+ ion conductivity. The effect of PEMGM and N-Ti on electrochemical performance of PEM was investigated using a.c. impedance. It was found that the crystallinity of PVDF-HFP-based PEM decreased with the addition of PEMGM, leading to the increased ionic conductivity. It was attributed to higher mobility of polymer chain by the increase of amorphous phase. Moreover, the addition of N-Ti led to the most suitable environment for ionic transportation and achieved the more improved ionic conductivity. |
