제목 Preparations of quantum dot-sensitized solar cells (QDSSCs) using electrospun nanofiber containing inorganic filler
초록 Quantum dotsensitized solar cells (QDSSCs) have been gaining attention because of broad absorption band of quantum dot (QD) and higher theoretical efficiency of QDSSCs than those of solar cells using organic dyes. In addition, QDs has an ability to generate the multi-electron per one photon, which is important to minimize the loss of light due to small coverage of QDs onto TiO2 particle compared to dyes. However, QDSSCs still show a low efficiency and low stability because of the absence of appropriate electrolyte and manufacturing method. We introduced poly(vinylidenefluoride-cohexafluoropropylene) (PVDF-HFP) nanofibers containing titanium(Ⅳ) isopropoxide (TIP) as a inorganic filler in order to improve stability of QDSSCs. QDSSCs using PVDF-HFP nanofibers with TIP showed good long-term stability and scattering effect. Absorbance and transmittance measurements were employed in order to compare PVDF-HFP nanofiber containing TIP as the scattering layer.
