제목 Preparation and properties of Poly(L-lactic acid) (PLLA) nanocomposites
초록 Poly(L-lactic acid) (PLLA) is one of the most used biopolymers due to its excellent biodegradability and biocompatibility as well as relatively low costs. Nanocomposites of biopolymers with nano-fillers such as carbon nanotubes (CNTs) offer significant potential for their increased utilization, as a result of the improvements in electric conductivity, mechanical and thermal properties. In this research we studied PLLA nanocomposite containing carbon nanotube (CNT) and organic nanotube (ONT). Toughening and reinforcing effects by two different tubular structures, CNT and ONT on the PLLA composites were compared. For CNT/PLLA nanocomposites, the covalent functionalization of CNTs had a significant impact on the structure and physical properties of PLLA nanocomposites such as the crystallization behavior and mechanical properties which are discussed in this research.
