Polymer solar cells (PSCs) have attracted attention due to low cost manufacturing process, promising transparency, and capability for application in flexible devices. In order to improve the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of PSCs, new conjugated polymers and small molecules have been synthesized for interficial layer to generated a favorable interface dipole. However, it is difficult to indroduce the interficial layer to the solar module process due to thickness problems. Herein, we suggest an alternative method, which is doped with a viologen derivative (V-2OH) to zinc oxide (ZnO) nanofilm, for modification of ZnO work function. This modification has enhanced to the short-circuit current in the PSCs, leading to the higher PCE. |
