제목 | Preparation of Al-doped Li7La3Zr2O12 solid electrolytes by a co-precipitation method |
초록 | Currently, lithium secondary batteries are problematic in that they are liable to leakage of organic liquid electrolyte, low thermal stability, and high temperature or impact resistance. To overcome these problems, all solid lithium secondary batteries with high stability, high reliability and high energy density have started to attract attention as next generation batteries. At all solid batteries, it is necessary to develop solid electrolytes having excellent properties in terms of stability. Among the solid electrolyte materials, Li7La3Zr2O12 (LLZO) having a garnet structure is an excellent electrolyte material with chemical and thermal stability due to low reactivity with Li metal which is an electrode layer. In order to produce LLZO, however, a high temperature of 1200℃ or more is required. With the heat treatment at high temperature, it is known that lithium volatilization and phase transition take place. Therefore, it is necessary to synthesize LLZO with cubic phase at relatively low temperature and to improve Li ionic conductivity. In this study, a co-precipitation method to synthesize a cubic phase of LLZO with small particle size was designed. Powder characteristics of the prepared LLZO were investigated. The Li ion conductivity through the powder molding to a disc by CIP and the sintering at high temperature was measured. As a result, relative density of the sintered LLZO disc was estimated to 93%. On the other hand, its ionic conductivity at room temperature was calculated to 3.2 x 10-4 S/cm. |
