제목 Various Properties Control in Radical copolymerization for Optical Materials.
초록
Radical copolymerization of monomers with large reactivity ratio differences causes a composition drift along with conversion. The composition drift will induce various properties. Since the composition of copolyemr at early stage and that of final stsge is quite different, there might be a heterogeneity due to the molecular scale phase seperation. Thus, it is very critical to obtain a homogeneous system and it has to be controlled throught the reaction process.
In this work, we have forcuced to control the homogeneity of copolymer without having any composition drift. And we will discuss the effect of composition drift on various propertis. The composition of random copolymer was characterized by H1-NMR and GC. Thermal and optical properties were characterized by DSC, TGA and UV-spectrometer and prism coupler.
