Aceclofenac has used for joint inflammation such as rheumarthritis and ostarthritis. However, aceclofenac has some problems to fabricate an oral drug and some side effect in stomach by overuse because they have poorly water-soluble property. Therefore, we hypothesized transdermal delivery system for use of aceclofenac will improve these problems and control drug release in skin. For this study, penetration of aceclofenac in skin of hairless mouse was performed using various concentrations of methanol or surfactant. Skin penetration was found in aceclofenac with 40% methanol, but it was decreased in over aceclofenac with 40% methanol. Also, skin penetration was higher in aceclofenac with 40% methanol contained surfactant than aceclofenac with 40% methanol. This research was supported by WCU (R31-20029). |
