Synthesis and Characterization of a novel p-type organic thin film transistor(OTFTs) polymer based on Thiophene |
초록 |
A new p-type polymer was synthesized by the Suzuki coupling reaction. The monomers were prepared with highly overall yields and the obtained polymer is confirmed by elemental analysis, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, FT-IR, UV absorption, photoluminescence (PL), and cyclic voltammetry (CV). The polymer contains alkyl-substituted thiophene and we are expected to have a high solubility by introducing the alkyl-chain. The thermal property of polymer was confirmed by using the thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The polymer was showed 5% weight losing temperature at 389 oC. The number-, weight-average molecular weight of the polymers were 8003 and 9284, determined by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) using polystyrene standards for calibration in the eluent THF. The band-gap of polymer is 2.04 eV and the HOMO is 5.40 eV. |
