The synthesis of PMMA-CdSe quantum dot film |

PMMA(polymethylmethacrylate)-CdSe quantum dot film was successfully fabricated by pre-polymerization of PMMA and dispersing commercially CdSe QDs. One-pot sol –gel method was used to synthesize CdSe QDs. The complete polymerization of PMMA-CdSe film was achieved by using commonly used polymerization method with MMA, AIBN. X-ray diffraction(XRD) was taken to analyze the crystallinity and crystal phases of CdSe QDs. Also, ultra-violet spectroscopy(UV) and Photoluminescence spectroscopy(PL) were taken to investigate the absorbance, refraction, and emission characteristics of the fabricated film. |
