Poly(vinyl alcohol)-Mmontmorillonite(MMT) is promising material for a wide variety of application such as food packaging and flexible electronics due to high flexibility, excellent transparency and their barrier property. Unfortunately, PVA-MMT film exhibits low resistance to water, which limit its further application in many areas. In this study, we fabricated double layer film consist of PVA-MMT/Methyl Methacryl Polyhedral Oligomeric Silsesquioxane(MAP_POSS) to enhance barrier property and thermal stability using bar-coater. The thermal, optical, and barrier property were investigated by Contact angle, Oxygen Transmission Rate(OTR), Water Vapor Transmission Rate(WVTR), Differential Scanning Calorimetry(DSC), Hazemeter. |
