제목 Improved performance of natural dye sensitized ZnO nanorod based DSSCs
초록 ZnO nanorods have been prepared by simple hydrothermal method. Natural dyes have been extracted from flower (Rose), Fruit (Strawberry) and vegetable (Beetroot) and the extracted natural dyes are sensitized with ZnO nanorods. The crystallinity and morphology of the photo-anodes were characterized by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy studies. The surface morphology study shows that the prepared ZnO nanorods are vertically aligned with hexagonal shape. The role of different parameters such as solvents, temperature and pH value for dye extraction has been analyzed for the enhancement of DSSC performance.
