제목 | The effect of N-doping carbon felt obtain from ultra-sonication on electrochemical performance of vanadium redox flow battery |
초록 | The surface modification of electrode material is essential to obtain VRFB with enhanced EE. Recently, surface modification of carbon felt has been investigated to introduce functional group on electrode surface by using heat treatment, acid treatment, decoration of metal oxide, and nitrogen doping. Among them, some studies reported its excellent electrochemical performance of VRFB by applying N-doping onto carbon felt. However, the reported method for N-doping onto carbon felt has limited to commercialization due to its multi-step and long process time. In this study, we investigated nitrogen functionalization onto carbon felt by using ultra-sonication to develop facile process for surface modification. We also investigated effect of nitrogen amount and applying times of ultra-sonication on electrochemical performance. |
