Radiolabeling and biological evaluation of a fibrinolytic enzyme lumbrokinase from earthworm Lumbricus rubellus in Sprague-Dawley rats |
| 초록 |
Lumbrokinase, a fibrinolytic enzyme isolated from an earthworm, Lumbricus rubellus is currently being investigated for its role in treating blood clotting diseases like thrombosis.The present investigation details a method for the synthesis of [99mTc]lumbrokinase and evaluates its distribution in a biological system.Radiolabelling of lumbrokinase with [99mTc] afforded [99mTc]lumbrokinase with a radiochemical purity of ＞ 90% as determined by radio-TLC and HPLC.Biodistribution studies revealed that the maximum percentage of the injected dose (% ID) of lumbrokinase was mainly concentrated in the blood. |
