Recently there has been considerable interest in flexible displays as the next-generation display. The flexible plastic has been recommended as a strong candidate for substrate, but these plastic substrates have many problemes to provide the comparable properties of dimensional stability, thermal stability, and solvent resistance to glass in order to apply conventional thin film transistor technology to flexible display. So in this study, a glass fabric reinforced polymer was introduced. To improve thermal properties, glass fabric with excellent coefficient of thermal expansion for reinforcement and multifunctional UV curable resin to ensure the excellent properties like transmittance, haze, yellow index, thermal stability and chemical resistance were prepared. The degree of cure of matrix resin was characterized by using FT-IR and the CTE of GFRP manufactured under different weight ratio of matrix resin was observed by TMA. |
