제목 Kinetic study on Oxygen diffusivity in β-Titanium
초록 Oxygen in Titanium which is highlighted for the neo environmental material has been known to be an injurious element for mechanical properties of titanium. Moreover titanium has a strong affinity for oxygen. For that reason, many researchers had studied about oxygen diffusivity in titanium, but there are remarkable contrast with measurements and researchers. In order to observe the exact movement of oxygen in titanium, the diffusion coefficient of oxygen in β-Ti has bean estimated by the molten flux method.
The concentration gradient of oxygen in titanium is proportion with not only the temperature but also the interfacial oxygen concentration. It seems that the calculated diffusion coefficients of oxygen are good agreement with measured results which was estimated by simultaneous considering the atomic theory of diffusion and the binary regular solution model.
