Soft conducting materials fabricated by layer-by-layer assembly |

We developed the soft conducting materials by layer-by-layer(LBL) assembly of single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWNTs) on a polycaprolactone(PCL) based membrane. First, we made the PCL based soft membrane which can provide the flexible mechanical properties. Second, we further modified the membrane with electroactive coating by LBL assembly of polyelectrolytes and SWNTs. This SWNT coating can offer the electrical properties. We expect that our soft conducting materials can be used as biomaterials in various biomedical applications. |
