제목 Microfluidic synthesis of microfibers by regeneration of cellulose from ionic liquids
초록 Rectangular-shape cellulose microfibers were produced by using a simple hydrodynamic flow-focusing microfluidic system. The synthesis of cellulose microfibers is based on the regeneration of cellulose from ionic liquids by simply contacting with a glycerol-containing water phase. The shape and size of cellulose fibers were controlled by changing the flow rates of the cellulosic solution and the surrounding sheath fluid and the fluid viscosities. Graphene oxide (GO) or reduced GO were easily immobilized in this fiber structure. The cellulose microfibers embedded with graphene could improve their mechanical or electrical properties. This method is simple, efficient, and environmentally friendly over current processing of cellulose into fibers.
