제목 Fabrication of Silica/Dye/Poly(methyl methacrylate) Core/Shell Nanoparticles
초록 Silica/dye/poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) core/shell nanoparticles were readily fabricated using seeded polymerization. The surface of silica was modified by silane coupling agent. Pyrene was mixed with MMA monoer. The mixture was attached to the hydrophobic surface of silica. Polymerization of the MMA monomer induced phase separation between the polymer and pyrene molecules. In this process, the more hydorophobic pyrene molecules tended to locate on the hydrophobic silica surface.
