Temperature-sensitive polymer films were prepared by combination of waterborne polyurethane (WPU) chains and N-isopropylacrylamide(NPIAAm) monomers by UV curing. Structures, mechanical and surface properties of the hybride dispersion cast film have been characterized by ATR, UTM, hardness and contact angle. Swelling and deswelling abilities of the films have been studied in terms of swelling kinetics, temperature response kinetics and diffusion coefficients (D). It is seen that D increased as NIPAAm content increased from 10 to 70 wt%. The obtained data presented that the formed films exhibited favorable thermosensitive properties upon temperature changes. |
