제목 | Dynamic characteristics on MEG recovery unit |
초록 | While many issues regarding flow assurance which deals with possible problems in the process of production and transportation of oil and gas in subsea are expected, formation of hydrate can be prevented with the injection of MEG (Monoethylene glycol). Due to its chemical characteristics, it is more effective than other hydrate inhibitors in that it is reused through recovery process. In other words, research on MEG recovery unit is important to enhance economics. In this study, MEG recovery unit is validated from which dynamic behavior is analyzed with commercial simulator. Disturbance, which is expected in normal operation, is also analyzed and applied to the dynamic model, thereby optimal operation guideline is elucidated. *Acknowledgement: This research was respectfully supported by Engineering Development Research Center (EDRC) funded by the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy (MOTIE).
