Effect of Ball Mill and KOH Activation on Pitch-based Carbon Fibers for Electrochemical Behaviors |
초록 |
Pitch-based carbon fibers can be produced at low costs and commonly used for electrodes of energy storage systems and activated carbon. A ball milling is useful method to produce a uniform size of particle. Pitch-based carbon fibers were ball milled and activated with KOH. The morphological properties were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The textural properties were confirmed by N2/77 K adsorption isotherms using Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) equation. The electrochemical performance was characterized by cyclic voltammograms (CV). The results indicated that ball mill treatment and KOH activation could affect the electrochemical behavior of the pitch-based carbon fibers. |
