Synthesis of Mesoporous Tin Oxide/Silicate with CTACl and Its Applicationin Anode Materials of Li-ion Battery |

In this work, tin oxide based nanoparticles were prepared by hydrolysis of SnCl4 with TEOS (tetraethyl orthosilicate). Powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns were obtained for determined their structures. N2 absorption/desorption (BET method) at 77K was used to determine their surface area and Cyclic voltammetry (CV) was also used to examine their electrical properties. As a result, the contents of TEOS was increasing, BET surface value of synthesized tin oxide based nanoparticles was increased till 50wt%. However their electrochemical properties were decreasing in conductivity and charge/discharge rate. It was thought that lower energy gap of Si caused their lower electrochemical properties. |
