제목 Multi-color Emission in Polybenzothidiazole Derivatives by Contolling Chemical Composition
초록 Hyperbranched conjugated polymers (HCPs) are attractive compounds for application in optoelectronic devices such as solar cells and light-emitting diodes. HCPs are advantageous over its linear counterpart in high solubility, good processability, and minimization of unfavorable intermolecular interactions and crystallization. We studied multi-color emitted HCPs via incorporating fluorophores into polymer chain. These polymers have polybenzothiadiazole backbone containing green- and red-emitting exciton trap sites. In order to realize multicolor emission, exciton migration phenomenon was introduced into the polymers. Accordingly, we controlled feed ratios of 2,1,3-befnzothiadiazole as green emitting site and 4,7-di(thiophen-2-yl)-2,1,3-benzothiadiazole as red emitting site. Alkoxy side chains on phenylene backbone played a role to enhance the solubility of HCPs.
