제목 Function Controlled Inorganic Particles Silica surface Modification and characterization
초록 Much attention has been paid to surface modification of nanoparticles to have a hydrophobic property on a surface that can be applicable to a polymer composite. We newly used silanepolyol as a modifier instead of alkoxysilane which are widely used. Silica as one of representative inorganic particle was modified with silanepolyol{ex. PhSi(OH)3} in a wide range from 0.2 wt % to 10 wt % (silica weight %, respectively) and characterized with a plenty of analytical tools(SEM, TEM, etc.) to demonstrate the existence of functional group. Herein, we will discuss a surface modification method of various inorganic nano particles and its surface analysis in details.
