제목 Enhancement in power conversion efficiency by incorporation of an cyanobiphenyl compound in active layer of organic photovoltaics  
초록 Effects of a cyanobiphenyl compound as an additive on the performance of organic photovotaics (OPVs) based on P3HT [poly(3-hexylthiophene)]:PC61BM [[6,6]-phenyl C61-butyric acid methyl ester] blend film were investigated by monitoring UV-visible absorption spectra, X-ray diffractograms, AFM images and carrier mobilities. The OPV with P3HT:PCBM:additive blend film showed the Jsc of 12.88 mA/cm2, the Voc of 0.64V and the FF of 58.83%, compared to the Jsc of 10.25 mA/cm2, the Voc of 0.62V and the FF of 55.98% for the reference device P3HT:PCBM blend film (without additive). The improved power conversion efficiency of OPV with the blend film was attributed to a higher absorbance, larger crystal size, closer packing of P3HT, and hence enhanced hole mobility.
