Nanomaterials (polymers, metals, metal oxides, semiconductors) are issue of interest in biology and medicine field due to their distinct photonic and magnetic properties. In this talk, general review on the potential of nanomaterials both in diagnostic field (biomedical assays, molecular imaging) and in therapeutic areas will be introduced and then recent research results of our research group will be presented. Our main research interest is the development of engineered nanomaterials-based platform technology for molecular imaging and targeted therapy. The multifunctional nanostructure developed in our research group, has potential in a wide variety of novel applications related to theranostics. |
