Ion-conducting membrane for Redox flow Bettery was manufactured by blending the SPEEK into Nafion |
초록 |
While ensuring chemical stability, the vanadium redox flow battery (VBR) used in the system has to keep the cost of the membrane low. Our problem is that the existing membrane ( Nafion 117) is very expensive. In order to solve this problem, it is necessary to develop an ion selective membrane that will achieve high stability, while keeping the cost down. We compensate for disadvantage of the nafion that we choose polymer of sulfonated Polyetheretherketone(PEEK) which has excellent chemical stability. SPEEK membrane is expected to decrease in cross-over of vanadium ion due to small channel of SPEEK. But SPEEK has low durability and chemical stability. Then we blend SPEEK and Nafion for improving of disadvantage of SPEEK. |
