제목 | Synthesis and Spectroscopic Studies of Zn(2-x)MnxSiO4 |
초록 | Green phosphors Zn(2-x)MnxSiO4 (x=0, 0.02, 0.04, 0.06, 0.08, 0.10) were synthesized by mixing ZnO, SiO2, and MnCO3, then through a solid state reaction. Using fumed silica for the reactant SiO2, the synthesis was completed as one-step process. For the structural determination and physical properties investigation, we performed XRD, photoluminescence, Raman, and IR studies. The structures according to ICSD Pattern (PDF 01-070-1235) were willemite, for all x values without any exception. All of the photoluminescence spectra included an intense green emission band, which corresponds to the typical 4T1g(4G) → 6A1g(6S) transitions of Mn2+. Also presented are the results of Raman and IR studies. Finally, we found that Zn(2-x)MnxSiO4 are good candidate materials for an application of display device when they are made as thin films on an ohmic contact. |
