제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Highly Luminescent Poly(p-phenylene vinylene) Derivatives for Light Emitting Diodes
초록 Polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs) based on poly(p-phenylenevinylene) (PPV)s have attracted much attention because of their applications in flexible and wearable displays, organic thin film transistors and photovoltaic cells. PPVs have many advantages such as chemical and thermal stability, high photoluminescence (PL) quantum efficiency, and ease of property tuning by copolymerization with various comonomers. However, one problem of ∏-conjugated polymers is that electron injection into them is much more difficult than hole injection, resulting in an imbalance between electron and holes. In this study, we are reporting the synthesis of a new series of statistical copolymers with poly(tetraalkoxy-PPV) and poly(m-SiPhPV) segments to obtain better optical and electronic properties than the other PPV derivatives. The OLED performance will be discussed with different device configurations.
