제목 Photorefractive Properties of Layer Structured Polymers
초록 We demonstrate for the first time the photorefractive properties of a new kind of polymer composites based on the layered photoconductive polymer PPT-CZ, doped with the nonlinear optical chromophores DDCST or PDCST, and the sensitizer C60. These photoconductive polymers consist of two components. The first is a rigid backbone formed by poly(p-phenylene terephthalate) (PPT), which has a self-organized layering ability. The second components are pendant carbazole (CZ) groups, which are attached at the end of alkyl spacers. Despite of the absence of a plasticizer and the lower concentration of the carbazole group as compared to poly(N-vinylcarbazole), these materials show large two beam coupling gain of 250 cm-1 at E = 60 V/μm for PPT-CZ(n=10):DDCST: C60 and high photorefractive sensitivity Sn2 of 69 cm2/kJ at E = 100 V/μm for PPT-CZ(n=12):DDCST: C60.
