제목 Preparation and Characterization of PLA/PP Blending System
초록 Polylactic Acid(PLA)/Polypropylene(PP) blending system was prepared by using an extrusion molding technique at the extrusion temeperature of 220℃. The thermal and mechanical properties of the prepared PLA/PP blending system have been investigated as a function of the composition of the blend (in terms of PP content). DSC measurements as well as the ESEM observation revealed that the blending system has a phase separated structure but was well mixed reasonably. The thermal properties such as the melting temperature (Tm) and thermal degratation characteristics of the blending system were measured by DSC and TGA respectively. Mechanical properties including Tensile strength were remarkably increased with increasing PP content of the composition as we expected.
