제목 | The Influence of Variable Photo/Co-initiator on the Optical Properties of Transmission HPDLC |
초록 | We studied the effect of various photo/co-initiator on the optical properties of transmission holographic polymer dispersed liquid crystal(HPDLC). rose bengal(R.B), methylene blue(M.B) and RBMB were used as photoinitiator. An ion pair(RBMB) isolated from rose bengal and methylene blue has been used as photoinitiator in formulations of photopolymers tested as HPDLC. Coinitiator was used N-phenylglycine(NPG), triethanolamine(TEA) and acetylacetone(AA). The goal of a photopolymer formulation is to obtain maximum diffraction efficiencies with minimum energetic costs. Obviously holographic parameters depend on the kind of photo/co-initiator and, consequently, on the involved photoreaction of photo/co-initiator. The morphology of holographic gratings was analyzed using scanning electron microscopy(SEM) . |
