size control of Cs3Bi2Br9 nanoparticles and study of phase transition during synthesis. |

In this report, we presents new method to non-toxic perovskite nanoparticles that are easy, safe, and productive. It is heating-up synthesis of lead-free cesium bismuth bromide (Cs3Bi2Br9) perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) with tailoring size of NCs. The method has been used for the synthesis of metals, metal chalcogenides or lanthanide for a long time. We appropriately applied this method to synthesizing perovskite nanocrystals. The reaction is conducted via injection-free, heating up method. Size of Cs3Bi2Br9 NCs are readily controlled by changing the amounts of surfactants added into the reaction mixture. Upon heating, sequential phase evolution occurs when extending the reaction time or increasing the reaction temperature. We characterize absorption and photoluminescence properties of Cs3Bi2Br9 NCs investigating size dependent optical properties. |
